Having a 2nd baby ???

Question

Thinking about having baby number 2!  How long did you wait to get pregnant again ? Also how did you know you were ready?  My first born will be 4 years old soon and I keep going back and forth in the idea since I'm no spring chicken.

I wanted to have my second between 3-5... I started trying again for number 2 when he was 4 1/2 got pregnant a month before he turned 5 but miscarried... We're now pregnant with #2 and he will be 7 a few weeks to a month before I'm due... I think the timing is perfect...

My daughter turned 3 in June. We started trying in August and I am currently almost 10 weeks. I am also no spring chicken (almost 33!) but I am glad we waited til our first was a bit older.

Honestly, I went back and forth A LOT about having a second. I saw somewhere that one way to tell is pretend that someone told you that you could never have another child and gage your gut reaction- well, my eyes filled with tears. I knew I wanted my daughter to have a sibling and also that I wanted to experience raising another child. Now that I'm pregnant, I'm feeling excited. Mine are exactly 4 years apart. What is your idea of a spring chicken? I'm 33. :) the pregnancy was quite a bit harder on my body than the first, but ladies older than me have babies everyday!

I was absolutely sure for so long that i didn't want another one.  Then i met the guy I'm with now and everything changed lol.   My son will be 12 by the time this little girl is born.  I wish they were much much closer!  I think two years is a good gap for siblings.

We started to try for second baby about 4 months before our son turned 3. I'm due any day now so they will be 3.5 years apart! I got pregnant pretty quick! Lol I think it's a good age apart!
