Whenever my daughter got step it was white dots all over the back of her throat.
If you suspect step it is totally worth a visit to the clinic. If she is old enough, get her to gargle with salt and warm water until you are seen at the clinic.

You cant guess strep by looking. You need a swab- that's the only way! (I used to get strep 2x a year, horrible, so yea, been through it FAR too many times). If you suspect strep, head to the doc and request a swab, so they can prescribe the proper antibiotics to deal with it if it IS strep. Good luck!

Doesnt look like strep to me, but does look irritated. Just because it doesnt look it, though, doesnt mean she doesnt have it. I would take her to urgent care or her pediatrician to have them swab her throat if it is really painful.
