PCOS?

Can anyone with pcos tell me if I should get checked? Before starting bc pills 8 years ago, my period would come every 3 weeks then 5 weeks, then 3 weeks then 7 weeks, just kind of all over the place. Now I have stopped bc pills, no period for 7 weeks and I have sharp pains in my ovary area (both sides). Yesterday when I got out of my car the pain was awful and I got really dizzy. How long should I wait to get checked?
