Some much for October baby
My due date was October 22. I was so excited to have a baby close to my favorite holiday. Being a FTM I was hoping my little one would hold out til Halloween. Then I got the news that bc I’m a type 1 diabetic, have a thyroid problem and single vessel cord, I’d have to be induced at 37 weeks. 38 weeks if I could get my sugars aligned right. Well both those weeks I’d be still in October. Well Monday September 23rd I went in for my regular Weekly NST (non stress test) 😢😢 took my blood pressure and it was 141/83 then she took it again and it was 151/96. Then after that it was 193/104. Well yeah it kept rising they kept scaring me. Well I bc I’ve always had perfect blood pressure they decided it was not only preeclampsia but something else as well. So they admitted me and said bc I was at such a high risk for stroke and seizures that they were inducing me. Um no thank you that day I was only 35w6d and I kept telling them I was against it bc it was too early. But they insisted so I went ahead and let them induce me. 16 hours of labor (that was from min I swallowed the starter pill) and only half hour of pushing. My baby girl came into this world at exactly 36 weeks. Weighing a total of 5 pounds 5.2 ounces. I’m happy to say she is healthy and thriving. Couple bumps in road at hospital. We were there Monday-Friday. 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️. But finally got to break free. Now for the healing to begin. Wasn’t in any pain after labor and delivery and could walk around like nothing happened. Now I’m feeling it for sure. But I wouldn’t trade the pain in for anything in this world. Had baby girl a month early but I still love her to bits. So here are to all the September babies. Yay for September 24th 2:09pm 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
