Just trying to figure out how it all works...

So when I did the one hour test, I failed by 1 point (141). I'd also just had a meal with a ton of sugars and carbs in it (I didn't know when I went in that they were going to have me do the test that day) so I figured no big deal, the 3hr is gonna suck but whatever.

Went in for the 3hr only 4 days later and failed 3/4 tests by a LOT - my 2hr results wouldn't have even passed the 1hr test.

GD runs in my family so I'm not that surprised, but with the 2 tests showing what feels like different results I'm just trying to understand. Could my body really change its ability to process sugar that drastically in such a short amount of time? I know there's more sugar in the drink but I've been told the numbers to reach are also much more reasonable.

I'm obviously going to he talking to my doctor but I don't see her until later this week and I'm just trying to figure it out.
