Pack n play with sleeper or bassinet?

Question

I want to have my baby in our bedroom the first weeks of her life so I can easily wake with her and feed her. In mom's experience, would you use a bassinet or just the pack n play? We're also going to travel to visit family when she's a couple months old so I want to make sure I register for the correct items and use what we need. Thanks in advance! ☺️

Pack n play all the way! They are portable and can be used throughout the young months... Once baby learns to climb they aren't very useful lol A bassinet can only be used till baby learns to roll over, then they aren't safe. You'll definitely get more use out of a pack n play... And they are wonderful for travel!

We LOVED our pack n play with our son that is 18 months now. It had a changing section on it as well that is removable and removable storage as well. Definitely a must have for us!

I'm having a bassinet and a pack n play easier to travel with pack n play as well as not have to move the bassinet from room to room so we will use pack n play in the living room as well.

I heard a pack n play is important and also a rock n play is great for next to the bed.. I plan to keep my pack n play downstairs as an extra changing area and sleeper during the day and the smaller more compact rock n play next to my bed just for the space..

We used pack n play with infant sleeper and changing section. It sings,vibrates and has lights. It is amazing will be using again with #2.
