Including partner in dr visit

Hello all! About 5 weeks pregnant (we hope!), and have our first appointment/ultrasound this week. I just wanted to check in to see how early others partners accompanied to Drs appointments. I’m guessing this first appointment is just a vaginal ultrasound and maybe blood work? Not sure what to expect and if it’s common to bring a partner, as currently my husband is planning to join. Thanks for humoring this overthinking question :).
