When your water breaks...

Did you think of a funny way to tell your SO your water broke? Honestly just wondering

I was laying on the couch watching Shark Tank with him and I remember a sharp pain, then a gush. I was in shock and just told him I either just peed my pants or my water broke. I was 38 weeks and couldn’t believe it!

I didn’t, but I had plenty of opportunities, since I kept gushing every so often. He was really excited, but since I wasn’t really contracting yet, he talked with his mom (an RN), who didn’t think we needed to go to the hospital right away. So he went back to sleep. Eventually decided to call the hospital, who weren’t particularly happy that I hadn’t shown up yet, so I told him we needed to go, got myself freshened up AGAIN with a brand new large pad, and out to the car, seriously worried that the pad wouldn’t last all the way there and then got really upset with him because he decided that was the perfect time to hop in the shower🙄🤣

My husband had picked up the ashes of our dog who had just passed away and I was looking through the bag they provided. I started to feel a leak and went upstairs to assess. My husband came up thinking I was upset about my dog and asked if I was ok. Nope (well I was, but there were more more pressing matters). We went to the hospital, baby boy was born the next day

Mine broke with both my pregnancies as the first sign of labour. The first time I thought I peed myself and told him so, then I realized that was not the case and got him to call the hospital. Second time I just told him cause I knew from the first time.

I yelled at him to wake his ass up and we needed to go 😂 it was 8am and I was puking my guts out while leaking water all over the hospital is an hour away

I'm pregnant with my 5th.. but with my first 4, my water never broke on it's own. So I didnt get a chance.
