Life Lessons

I sometimes forget there are so many young people out there who don’t have life experience. Here are some things I’ve learnt along the way which may be helpful, or not 🤷🏻‍♀️

Once something leaves your mouth, you have no control over what happens with that information. No matter how many times you say ‘Please don’t tell anyone this, but.....’

It’s none of your business what other people think of you. It’s their opinion. You can try and change it, but you might not succeed and you have to be OK with that.

The people around you don’t have a life subscription to what’s happening in your head. No one is a mind reader, especially not your SO. If someone isn’t playing along with your script it’s because they don’t have a copy. Communication is everything!!!!!!!!!!!

Look up the word ‘Resilience’ and use it next time someone offends you. Be strong and let the small things slide and know when to pick your battles. Don’t blame and pass hate because you’ve been slightly insulted. Practice resilience and your head space will be so much less cluttered.

You’re an adult. You are in control if your own actions. No one has the right to make you feel anything less than the amazing, human creation you are.
