C-section recovery and tips

First time mom and getting a c-section 11/14. Can anyone with experience give me any pointers on recovery and what to expect? I have a 2 story, I heard stairs aren’t doable? Picking up baby? Bending over? Getting up from laying/sitting? How soon can my husband leave me by myself? Driving? Tips to help heal or make things easier? I just want to be prepared! Thanks in advance! How many days in the hospital? If I have her between 9-noon on Thursday, when would I get discharged?
