I had to have a medical emergency C Section in order to save me and my sons life.... I thought I was covered by insurance (the hospital provided it for me during early pregnancy due to inability to work so no income). My son is a year old in 8 days and I just now received a medical bill for 3,114.84$. I just about have a HEART attack. I called them asking why didn’t my insurance cover it (I was literally just wondering cuz I can promise you I don’t have 3155$ to pull out of my ass.) The lady was SO rude, demanding I give her my credit card/debit card number immediately or she would automatically send it to Collection places and she assured me “I can make your credit drop so fast”... I’ve never been one to have bad credit, nor skip out on payments for ANYTHING, and I legit just do not understand. Has anyone else had problems like this?? It was with Mercy Hospital...
