how do i make my partner’s first time special?

he’s liked me for literal years. i’ve liked him for months. we kissed for the first time today, and we’ve only been dating for a week.

but my first time wasn’t special, it was in my boyfriend’s friend’s camper and it was gross and stressful and on a whim. i was 15.

i want him to have a better experience than me, and i really like him a lot. not sure on what to do besides have it not be on a whim
