Every relationship is different. We have sex at least 2 times a week. Sometimes more sometimes less. 
Being to busy adults takes a lot out of you during the day. When we first got together we fucked like bunnies forsure but now it's a bit more chilled out.

Depends on the couple and the circumstances. 
Obviously, if one of them has major surgery or a serious illness that month, they cannot be held to a required bang quota.
In general, I'm against treating your partner like a sex toy or your only sexual outlet possible. Intimacy is definitely important, but a relationship is often a partnership, and I don't think it's all about sex. Although a lot of us want plenty of sex. I do.

It’s up to the couple. What’s important is that you are on the same page. A once-a-day person should not be with a once-a-month person. 
I want my wife every day. Can’t keep my hands off her. She wants it 3-4 times a week. I’m ok with that. A bit of teasing and denial keeps me constantly hungry and it works without being frustrating.
