Very frequent feeding with nutramigen

So my daughter was diagnosed with a cows milk allergy about 2 weeks ago, we started her on nutramigen. At first I was so pleased just because it was so much easier for her eat, however a couple days in I noticed that she continued to feed very frequently with it, approximately every 2 hours. She is 14 weeks old and was previously at 12 weeks old lasting about 3 to 4 hours during the day and 5 to 6 hours at night between feeds. I have given her 4 to 5 Oz per feed however it doesn’t seem to hold her longer, therefore I have resorted to giving smaller more frequent feeds of about 3oz to 4 oz or else she receives way too much formula and shows signs of overfeeding,m. Has anybody had this happen if so do you have any suggestions of things to try, what did your doctor say?
