Glass of wine breastfeeding??

I'm dying for a glass of wine. I haven't had one in 11 months now...anyway my little one is sleeling from 830 to 1 or even 3 am. So if I were to have a glass of wine around 9 would there be any concern about breastfeeding her at 1am 4hrs later? I feel guilty over wanting a drink but its been a rough day and to be honest I just want a hot bath and glass of wine.

You’re fine!!! If you can drive a car you can breastfeed! 1 or 2 drinks is fine

Drink the wine! Feed baby, then enjoy your drink. You have plenty of time before baby will need to eat again. I heard if feel good enough to drive, you can safely feed baby. I've enjoyed a cocktail with dinner a couple times a week since baby was born and have zero regrets.

It’s fine. The CDC is very conservative and they’ve found one drink per day isn’t harmful to infants, and that alcohol isn’t detectable in breast milk 2-3 hours after having one drink.

I have a beer or wine a couple times a week, sometimes even while feeding her 😳 my doctor says it’s fine as long as I don’t over do it

I have about one glass of wine a week. I have it right after I feed him and it seems to work fine.
