Do you wake baby up to change their diaper?

If they are napping and you smell poo, do you change or wait til they wake up?

This will probably be an unpopular opinion.. But if I hear him poop and he's due to wake up soon (30 min or so) for food anyway, I will often just wait until he wakes up. He's much angrier with me if I wake him prematurely than if I wait 30 min for a diaper change! And he hasn't had any rashes or redness yet. 
Obviously if he's just gone down to sleep and it happens, I will change him and deal with the screaming to get him back to sleep!

Poop, I DEFINITELY wake my LO up and change it. I will never let them sit in poop, as that is uncomfortable and can cause painful rashes. But that’s just me. I’m OCD and it bothers me seeing a wet diaper and leaving it alone lol. Pee, I will often let her stay sleeping unless it’s bulging and really wet.

If its poo then yes. Will cause diaper rashes eventually and it breaks down the skin. For pee I just wait until baby wakes
