Anyone else's baby boy have a hydrocele?

My baby was born with a very significant hydrocele. He is now 10 weeks old and it does not appear to be shrinking. His doctor wants to see him back in November and if its the same he's getting referred into urology. Is anyone else in this situation? Xxx

Levi had a large hydrocele and it all of a sudden went a way a couple days ago, he’s 14 weeks old now

My baby has hydrocele but my pedi told us that if it doesn’t resolve on its own in his first year of life, then we will have to see a Urologist to talk options on what to do. She said most cases clear up within the first 12 mos though and that it is very common.

Was told my son had it just before he was born and that there was no need to worry unless it bothered him. The swelling varies day by day but never seems to bother him thankfully. My dr said the will sometimes resolve on their own after the first year
