chances of getting pregnant on the pill when taken PERFECTLY , what do y’all do?

I’ve only been on the pill for 20+ years with no accidents (married). I trust the pill to work.

I was on the pill for 7 years and took it about the same time everyday (give or take an hour). Didn’t use any other protection since I was with the same partner and I’ve never gotten pregnant or even had a pregnancy scare. I trust my pills.

I was on the pill for years and took it everyday, maybe have missed one day a handful of times. The only thing I wasnt perfect on was timing. I would try and take it at 9pm however sometimes it was 8pm or even 10-11pm. Sooo I did get pregnant. I feel like if you take it religiously then you have nothing to worry about but if you have even minor slip ups then you should pull out or use a condom.

If you are trying to be safe, do all three ! If you’re on birth control, you’re basically 100% protected and then if he has condoms he is basically 100% protected (I’m not sure the percentage rates of condoms sorry) and if he pulls out he’s even more protected! If you get pregnant from doing all three then the Good Lord wanted you to have a baby lol

There's always a chance of pregnancy, even if it's very slim. If you're in a committed relationship that would be able to handle a baby in the VERYYY slim chance that you fall pregnant then let him finish inside if you want. If you're not committed and more of a fling then double up on protection.

All three of pregnancies happened while on birth control the first one was pills and I took them religiously the second was Nuvaring and the current one was with the shot so..... never trust birth control it should be thought of as a precaution or a back up but don’t trust it
