Can I still masturbate?

So I was in preterm labor a month ago. It was minor and happened bc of an infection that has been cleared. 
My question is, can I masturbate and still be ok? pregnancy makes you horny.
PS- My doctor didn't say avoid sexual activity. I also don't want to ask my doctor because it's awkward and it's not a female doctor.

I was high risk for preterm labor with all 3 kids and was told nothing that causes organisms or anything because it can trigger contractions but maybe email your dr office and just be like hey just wanted to find out my restrictions and name a list like walking exercise sexual activities an they’ll let you know. My dr straight up said no sex masturbation walking ect 😂

Why would it be awkward, it's a very natural thing. Besides, you could just generally ask whether it's ok for you to have an orgasm, don't have to specify how!
