Healthy pregnancy with a bicornuate uterus? Need help!!!

I miscarried at 6 weeks and was told I have a mass on my uterus. The doc wanted to remove and look into my uterus, so I had the Procedure today. She said the left side is smaller that the right and dips down about half way. What did you do when you found out you had a bicornuate uterus? What did the doc advise? Miscarriages- how many did you have? Do I have a chance to have a healthy pregnancy without doing anything else? 
My doctor is not very good and saying I need to get a MRI done now to determine if I need to do surgery. I feel so overwhelmed. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I found out I have a bicornuate uterus when I conceived on the Paraguard. 😳 That was my first pregnancy, and despite being high risk due to placenta previa and vasa previa, I delivered vaginally after induction at 39 weeks. I’m currently almost 17 weeks with my second pregnancy. No miscarriages that I’ve been aware of.

Don't waste your money on an MRI. I did it and a lot of it was out of pocket. It's basically just to confirm the diagnosis and take your money. My doctor said they could do an operation but it's also expensive and almost never worth it. If you google the statistics on healthy pregnancy with a bicornate uterus it is still pretty high success rate.

With my first pregnancy I had an ultrasound at about 20 weeks. They didn’t see anything. At 30 something weeks my doctor booked an ultrasound because she said he was breech and positioned very oddly given how far along we were. All they seen was he was feet first and I was 2-3cm dilated, non active labor. They told me that I would need a csection on my due date because the umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and bellow his feet. (they were hoping he would get unstuck and move) I was on bed rest until my due date. During my c-section, my obgyn came to where my head was and said, we found out why he was stuck and explained a bit about a biocornuate uterus. Second pregnancy was better, knew what to expect and planned ahead. He too was stuck, they actually vacuumed his head to try to get him out which I was confused because I thought that they only did that for vaginal deliveries. They keep an eye more and declare all high risk pregnancies but it gets better the more kids you have. I’ve never had a miscarriage that I know of but I do get lots of pain and cramps when I’m on my period. I have to always take ibuprofen for the pain, during periods. I wanted the surgery done during my first c-section and figured no point to get it after my second pregnancy because I was scared about a v-back and how that would impact my uterus after already having a c-section. There has definitely been ups and downs in both my pregnancies/births, but they’re both healthy even after a difficult journey. Now I’m expecting my 3rd, thinking it’s actually twins based on what I could see from the ultrasound today, should be confirmed he/she or they are doing tomorrow. Stay positive, that’s what I always tell myself going through this condition. Take deep breaths and give yourself moments to process, ask questions always. Remember you’re a strong woman, you can get through anything even if it seems scary and difficult, you got this.

I would do the MRI or a 3D ultrasound to determine if it is bicornuate or septate.
Septate can be operated on, but a bicornuate shouldn’t be. I was told I had a bicornuate uterus for years and turns out it was actual septate with a 12mm dip that divide my uterus in two. I had the surgery to remove the septum because my first miscarriage was due to the septum.

I went in for a routine check up when my doctor said I had a bicornuate uterus. A year later I got pregnant and I delivered naturally 6 weeks ago at 39 weeks. When I was first diagnosed with a bicornuate uterus I had an MRI to confirm and my gynac said to only have an operation if I had more than 1 miscarriage. The operation can weaken the uterus. Once I got l pregnant I had additional checkups but it all seemed ok.

I just found out while I was holding twins that I had a heart shaped uterus. Sadly one of the babies passed away on January 4th but so far so good with the twin, 12 weeks and 1 day and counting.

I had an MRI done and they said they didn’t see anything. This was after I miscarried at 6 weeks. 
8 months later I’m currently 5 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Had an ultrasound done to see if they still believe I have a bicornuate uterus as they suspected with my first pregnancy before miscarrying.. 
No results back yet. But plan to keep you updated
