Am I a bad mother...

for leaving my 12 week old son to play on his activity mat alone? He seems quite happy to do this and it allows me to get things done! I feel like playtime should be our time to spend together but honestly I just leave him to it usually (unless we’re doing tummy time) and use the time for myself. My husband works away so I’m effectively a single parent and don’t have anytime to myself so I feel like I just need a little break sometimes. Is this an awful thing to say?

Doing things while he sleeps also isn’t an option as he doesn’t nap unless he’s on me and as soon as I put him down he wakes up!
