Can you wear makeup for egg retrieval?

I looked on the form and it said “no scents” like lotion or perfume but didn’t say anything about makeup I’m dreading at least not having a little mascara doesn’t anyone know???

They said no perfumes or lotions so I didn’t do anything. I’m sure I looked wonderful that day 😂

I was told absolutely no makeup, no scents, no deodorant, nothing.
Anything you wear can be considered an air contaminant, including makeup. Eggs don't normally leave the body and can be extremely sensitive to molecules on the air 
After all you've gone through for IVF, why risk anything to wear mascara? You're going to be so doped up you won't care

I had a little makeup on and they didn’t say anything.  Like bb cream, eyebrow pencil, eyeliner and lipgloss.

I'm never allowed to have on perfumes or anything scented going to appointments. They told me that's because of there being live embryos and scents can affect them. I don't see why mascara would hurt... I couldn't wear anything that day cause well, i felt like crap afterwards why bother to look good lol
