Items for the hospital? Before & after delivery

So I’m a ftm and given I’m only 26 weeks as the time gets closer I get anxious. I just want to know some MUST HAVES for before and after the delivery for me, baby,& hubby? What are some things you needed without over packing?

Nursing bra, pajamas, socks, hair ties (and other accessories to keep your hair out of your face if needed), clothes for baby to go home in, chargers for phones and cameras, personal hygiene stuff. A lot of hospitals will provide you with nursing pads and pads for after you have baby as well as diapers and wipes, but I’d suggest calling to see what your hospital will supply. You really don’t need much, but it just depends on how picky you are and how much of your personal belongings you want

One thing I snuck in was a heated pad it helped the soreness so much those couple days. Definitely do it again

My husband had a blanket and pillow from home and warm clothes (I had it icy cold in the room lol)
I brought my own pillow, some makeup, PJs, my own shampoo (the hospital soap sucked lol) and a going home outfit for baby.
The hospital really has everything you and baby need so there's no need to over pack.
Also, if you plan on breastfeeding, I'd recommend nipple cream and using it religiously! It really got me through the first few weeks of painful latches!

One thing I didn’t think to bring was anything feeding related. My plan was to breast feed and I didn’t think I would need anything for that. Baby had a hard time latching so I was advised to pump after every feeding to make sure my breasts were stimulated to keep my milk coming in. The hospital had a pump but I wished I had a hands free pumping bra because I was pumping every 3 hours and having to hold the bottles. Also wished I had cleaned my pump parts and learned how to use my pump at home beforehand. 
One thing baby related I’m glad that I had were the baby mittens because my baby could easily scratch his face with his nails. I only brought one newborn and one 0-3 outfit for options to wear home. The 0-3 was way too big. I wished I had brought more newborn options because he spit up on his one good outfit before we were leaving the hospital! 
Other good things:
-Coconut oil for sore nipples
-Snacks 
-Comfy robe
-Newborn swaddle with zipper
-face wipes

I’m also a FTM and we did a tour of L & D ward and they told us to bring our own pillows/blankets so we are more comfortable as the ones they have aren’t super comfy. Also they suggested we bring snacks (make sure hubby has food too) and everyone I’ve talked to suggested bringing chapstick!  I’ve also packed loose fitting pjs for after, nursing bra and something loose but comfortable to wear home. Also some make up (personal preference for when people come to visit) which includes waterproof mascara as I cry all the time haha.
