Has any moms got fentanyl ?

Trying to avoid epidural but have a low pain tolerance I’m 33wks today so not much longer to go☺️❤️just needing so more extra advice FTM just trying to see if any moms have tried this instead of the epidural it’s also like morphine ! Just need some insight anything will help

I got it a couple times during my induction and then after my csection. It works wonders but is short term. It also made me very loopy.

It’s pretty short term but it let me nap (and I never EVER nap during the day) and it felt damn good 😅

I got it when I was induced but it is a short term medication and helped me relax a little bit.

I got it.. for me it took the edge off but I still had some pain. It also made me throw up.

I used it before I caved and got the epidural. They gave it to me while I was in a nice warm bath. It didn’t take away any of the pain but it helped more to relax between contractions so I could keep going. You can also pair it with the laughing gas I believe.
