Have any of you used the Calma nipples by Medela with your preemies? How did you and baby like it? My DD is still learning to eat by mouth and has a feeding tube to supplement meals, so I have to be very selective with the products we use. We currently have Dr. Brown's preemie nipples and she likes them pretty well, but we are also working on breastfeeding. While she does well with that too, I am only supposed to breastfeed twice a day because docs want to make sure she's getting enough calories and they want to carefully monitor her meals by the mL. I am very worried about nipple confusion because my goal is to wean her to exclusively breastfeeding as she gets older. Calma is supposed to be good for that but I hadn't heard if preemies took to it or not. Any of you have words of wisdom? Thanks! :)
