membrane sweep

alrighty well my due date was yesterday and that came and went! i have a scheduled doctor appointment tomorrow and she said we can do a membrane sweep.

i’m already 4cm dilated & 60% effaced as of last thursday. (five days ago) TWO QUESTIONS

does a membrane sweep hurt? i’m terrified. i honestly hated when she checked my cervix because it was painful.

and also, do you guys think this will kick off labor? i don’t have a scheduled induction date and i’m so ready to meet this little stubborn dude!
