Update - had a sweep & I’m 2cm dilated & 75% effaced, now the waiting game , getting contractions but there all over the place . Hopefully this works if not I get induced next week yayyyyy

Looks to be part of it but unfortunately losing some or even all of your mucus plug doesn't mean much at all. I've lost parts of mine since week 17 and it always regenerates itself. I've been told that unless it has blood in it or you start cramping than it doesn't indicate anything.
