Pregnant after ectopic how long?

Okay so I don't know exactly what board is best to post this too. But I recently had an ectopic pregnancy. It was devastating to me and my husband as it was a planned pregnancy (about 10 months of trying) anyways, I ended up having to get the methotrexate shot to dissolve my pregnancy to avoid tubal rupture or having to get surgery.. And I know initially you have to wait 3 months after to start up trying again so it can be all out of your system. So we are gonna start around Dec. My question is how long did it take you once you started trying again? And was it another ectopic?
