How can I clean this rug?!

I just got it & my son got some of his pop tart on it. It says spot clean only, but I don’t know what to clean it why? There’s a little red spot from the strawberry.

Ignore the shoes, he’s constantly dragging them out. Lol

My rug said the same thing to be honest I’ve tried that and it doesn’t work. 
I filled my bathtub up with some cold water, and put clear oxiclean and also some bissel spot and stain remover and tool a wash cloth and gently scrub at it. Then I put the rug in the washer on drain and spin to ring it out. I did this 2x and then put it out over the rail to dry completely on a nice sunny windy day. It was dry by 2:00 and the stain was gone and it smelt as though I had my carpets cleaned in that room.

Spot clean but also myb spray scotch gaurd on the rug.

Spot clean just means don't soak the entire rug. Try a stain remover like shout or oxiclean.
