What is the difference between a primary care doctor vs obgyn during pregnancy ? Which is better ? I really dont like any of the gyns i went to so i decided to go to a primary cary dr ... do one of the either give better care ?

Ive never heard of going to a primary care doctor for pregnancy so I don’t know ive only heard of going to obgyns or midwifes

You should be seeing an OBGYN, that’s their specialty. Primary isn’t necessary

I know that my primary doctor won't see me for anything to do with my pregnancy. My doctor sent me to the OBGYN that I have. I love my OB. He is really nice and a few of my friends have had him. He answers all of my questions and he knows what to do and how to keep me and baby safe.

Honestly anymore in a lot of places primary doctors don’t even have hospital privileges...it’s all hospitalists. definitely recommend annOBGYn
