Vaginal infections while pregnant?

Question

Anyone had this? I've had yeast infections before I was pregnant and now I'm getting similar symptoms :/ and I'm pretty nervous. 
Is it bad for the baby? What do I do? How did this even happen?!

I just got an yeast infection and the dr gave me some vaginal cream for it....I read its only bad for the baby Iif you have it while giving  birth it can give them thrush the only problem I had is that the infection was causing contractions

I am 34 weeks just got over yeast and bacterial infections. You can do monistat 7 day course - the shorter courses aren't long enough. I did the 3 day and it just eased the symptoms so I had to do an oral medication.

If you know it's a yeast infection, monastat works great, and is safe for baby. If you're not 100% sure, having a culture done is probably the best bet. I ended up with a yeast infection, and I knew that's what it was, but I wanted to be sure. Totally okay though, it won't hurt the baby, they just really, really suck lol.

I just recovered from a very bad yeast infection. It lasted 2 weeks and was the worst infection I've had 😕 its perfectly normal in pregnancy. Don't stress! Just go to the pharmacy and get some over the counter treatment but tell the pharmacist you're pregnant. I thought it was something else and went to my doctor to get tested for all sorts of things but it was just very bad thrush lol. Baby will be okay!

Yeast infections don't harm the baby I was told by my doctor so they usually only treat it if you have symptoms monistat 3 or 7 day is category b and safe for pregnancy that's what they tell me to take but you might want to have your doctor do a culture test before you take anything
