Just went for an ultrasound at 8 weeks - saw heart beat but doc didn't measure the heart rate. Is that weird?

Everything looked good and we could see the heart beating on the screen. The doctor didn't measure the heart rate though and basically said they only do that when they listen to it and we didn't do that today. Is that weird? I see all these ultrasounds posted with the heart rates. Was the doctor just being lazy?

I'm in Denmark, I've had ultrasounds in week 8 and 9. We saw the heart beat but didn't listen to it. Didn't bother me, it looked fast and regular both times.

Same here they measured the baby and we saw the heartbeat but they didn’t get the heart rate either I’m in Florida

I didn't hear the heartbeat untill this last ultrasound at 12 weeks

I measured at 6w1d at my ultrasound and they measured the heartbeat. Not sure what's normal.
