Rescue fur baby 🐱

This little man was picked up by a friend. They witnessed his sibling get run over by a car & they stopped to get him out of the road so he wouldn’t meet the same fate. They posted all over social media hoping someone would claim him but after a few days it looks like he’s a stray. So my friend bathed him & kept him at her house for a while. But her husband didn’t want more cats so she asked us if we would take him.

They hadn’t really given him a name but their son gave him the nickname Oreo, so that’s what we named him!

We already have 3 cats (2 male, 1 female) & I was anxious about bringing him home as the older two (which are males - fixed) can be a little unwelcoming but all 3 took him right in!

He has the loudest purr I’ve ever heard in a cat. So far he’s just sat on my husbands chest making biscuits (kneading lol) & purring his little heart out.
