What should baby wear during winter.

I live in Texas and it’s 52 degrees and was wondering what should baby wear to keep warm at night. He usually just sleeps with a short sleeve onesie since it’s been hot for the past months. His wearing a long sleeve sleepwear since it’s cold outside. Should I turn on the heater or keep it cool in the 70s.

I wouldnt call the 70s as cool. We keep our house between 68 and 70, sometimes our room got to 72 after we turned the heat on and had warmer days but that's too hot. Ours just sleeps in a long sleeve footed pajama.

I have the heather of my house set up at 72-73 because i am always cold this is how my baby sleep she doesn’t wear nothing underneath but I’m concern because when i wake up to feed in the middle of the night  her feet are cold and I feel guilty because i use blanket and she don’t  and i feel if I am cold she is too, but she sleeps fine. so my question is should I put socks? or when should i put socks?

I live in Indiana, but it dropped to 36° overnight and I kept the house at 68°. He was just in his diaper and a fleece Halo Sleepsack. He slept 11-7:30 and he was toasty in the morning. He wasn’t cold at all.

The ideal sleeping temp for a baby is around 18C (65F). If it drops below that at my house, I pop the central heating on for an hour before bed. Having said that, our room is naturally around 17-19C. I dress my baby in a sleepsuit and 2.5tog sleeping sack.

I personnaly keep my house at 19C° (66 F°). At night I put my son in a footsy pyjama and I swaddle him in a blanket. Too make sure your baby is not cold or hot, touch the base of his/her neck. Hands and feet can be cold even went baby is warm because they don't have the best circulation.
