Mirena side effects??

Question

Anyone ever have swelling in the hands and feet with leg pain and super dizzy all the time? Plus my lower back has been painful since I got it. Only have had it for a little over a week and I don’t like it. Calling Monday to get it out

Leg pain can be concerning, I read the pamphlet when I was having trouble with my mirena and it said serious pain in the calf area could be a blood clot. Dizziness is a little worrisome too. Make sure you're hydrated and if you're bleeding then keep up on iron and eat a little more. If I skipped meals on my mirena I got dizzy. I got mine out after 3 weeks. It doesn't agree with everyone! 
Word of warning: happened to me and my friend, they'll try to talk you into keeping it longer. If you're uncomfortable then absolutely stand your ground and get it out. I repeat- it doesn't agree with everyone. My 3 weeks were HELL. Removal is painless unless it's gotten embedded. I felt so good after getting it out!

I’ve had mirena 3 times and haven’t experienced any of the side effects you mentioned. I’ve had random spotting on and off since I had it placed 4 weeks ago, but that’s been it. Sorry you’ve had such a negative experience with it!!
