Am I overreacting ?

I’ve been dating my boyfriend for a year (Neely 18 & 19) and we had a miscarriage. He lives next to an older woman and we love spending time with her. Her son (who we’ll call John, is 44) spends a lot of time there as well and he’s nice, but today he was a little... too friendly?? We went over there and I was sitting in the living room while my boyfriend was outside smoking with John. Him and his girlfriend are toxic to each other from my understanding and she has cheated before. I don’t know much about it but it’s not my business. Well he came in for a minute and passed me, saying “hey cutie patootie”. I thought maybe for a second he was talking to his girlfriend but then he followed a few minutes later with “do you wanna get pregnant again?”. I ignored it. He then made rude “jokes” to his girlfriend about her weight, but she says it’s their norm 🤷🏻‍♀️ Later that day we all went to dinner and he automatically asked if I could drive him. When we were at the restaurant, he sat next to me. While there, he stepped outside to smoke and I caught him staring at me. Multiple times.

I’ve tried to tell my boyfriend but he says that he didn’t mean anything by the comments, and that he wouldn’t be able to have kids again even if his comment did mean anything. He says that they have known each other for a while and he is harmless, that he probably was just asking if we were trying.
