Why?!

My baby’s father left me for his ex. Not only has he told me I’m the best, most attractive woman he’s been with - his family loves me as well - but all of my friends said I was too good for him when we first got together.

I didn’t care! I loved him. Well, as for this ex of his. She is ugly inside and out, and has been just a vile person every time she’s gone out of her way to contact me. Crazy, manipulative, abusive, a cheater, controlling, etc. He’s said he hates her, his family HATES her as well.

Yet he just left me and our son for her. I’ve been so kind to him. Forgave him for his mistakes and shown him nothing but pure love. His family has thanked me for “changing” him. He truly is awful when he’s with this girl. You can immediately tell when he’s been with her.

So I just don’t understand, after everything, why? Why has he chosen her? Literally disappeared on me/us and I found out by myself.

Beyond that, why has he repeatedly asked me if I’ve moved on since? The only thing he has said to me is asking if I found someone else. Did I move on. I posted a photo yesterday and he contacted me asking what I was doing posting that.

I’ve since told him to keep our conversations about our child. He acted offended.

I don’t get it?! I don’t get why he left me. I never will understand. He had every reason NOT to leave. But, since he did, why is he so hung up on who I’m with and what I’m doing?

For the record, I haven’t moved on and won’t for a while. I don’t understand him and the things he does. I could never be that way.
