Marijuana during Pregnancy

Man, being newly pregnant is hard! I’ve been avoiding exposure to smoke. And that means avoiding my friends. :(

My husband and I live in California and all of our friends smoke weed. My husband went to our friends house last night, and I stayed home because they smoke weed in their house. My husband and friend texted me that it was smoke free and I should come over.

So finally at 10 weeks, I saw my friends for the first time since finding out I was pregnant. They were all really great about stepping outside to smoke, but they had previously been smoking in the house at some point before I was over. I was in the house for probably 30-45 and tried to sit by the open door.

The rest of the night we were outside and everyone went far away from me to smoke. I wasn’t worried about that at all. I am just concerned about my exposure to third hand smoke for the time I was in the house. I’m gonna talk to my doctor but not for two weeks.
