How long did it take for your 2nd?

I had my first just before my 40th birthday.  We are currently trying for a second. I hear it often takes longer for number 2.  I'm 42 so I'm scared it's too late for me...so just wondering what your experience was ? Thanks ladies.

Had my first at 40! She is now 16 months and we got pregnant our first try this time!! I will be 42 when this baby is born. Don’t give up hope at all Mama. We are young spring chickens!! ;-)

got pregnant with first within 3 months (age 37), and the second within the same amount of time (age 39).

Got pregnant with baby #1 in 6 months (33 yrs). Got pregnant with baby #2 (34 yrs) on the first try; 7 months postpartum. Got pregnant with baby #3 on the first try again (36 yrs old). I couldn’t believe it! I thought it would’ve taken longer at least for subsequent ones, but not for us 🤷‍♀️

My first at 36 took 5 months. My second at 39 took 3 months.

It happened immediately with my older son at 36, and took 9 or 10 months at 38 to get pregnant with my second.
