False alarm

So last night i was having 3 to 5 mins contractions. I called my Ob and he told me to go to labor and delivery. Well i stayed there for a couple hours and was sent home. I am currently 35 weeks and 4 days pregnant as of today. My cervix is open at 2 1/2 cm. I wonder if i will progress well enough to give birth this week. I have gestational diabetes and baby at 33 weeks was already measuring at 5.7 lbs. So i think his already big and i am so ready to get this over with because i feel so huge with so many discomfort. Oh god please l want to give birth already.
