When is your first appt

Question

The soonest I can get in i will be 8 weeks. I keep seeing people posting about levels and bloodwork. Do you just go get those done on your own? 
The worst is it will probably be another 3 weeks after my appointment before my first ultrasound 
This waiting is killing me!

It’s normal to not see a doctor until 8 weeks and then not get an ultrasound until 12 weeks. A lot of women on this app have had miscarriages or were going through fertility treatment which is why they’re getting all this bloodwork and stuff done. In a normal low risk pregnancy you really don’t typically get to be seen until 8-12 weeks

I have Kaiser and they said I’ll have a phone appointment at 5 weeks and won’t go in for an ultrasound until 10-11 weeks 😒

My first appointment and sonogram are the same day they just do them on the same day one after the other I will be 9 weeks.  I had a lot of complications with my first child during delivery so that plus my maternal age of 35 I will be high risk so don’t know how often I’ll be going in after that.  Sad I have to wait another month before I go in but at 9

Just made my first one and it’s not till November 8th and I’ll be 7 weeks and 6 days so almost right at 8weeks

Due to being high risk I had my i take appt at 4 weeks with all bloodwork, and another round of blood two days later. First ultrasound at 6w5d and one after that I’ll be 8w3d .

I went at almost 5 weeks, and we couldn’t see much except for a sack. It’s worth the wait! I promise, this way you can also hear the heartbeat and see more than a sack Lolol good luck!!!

My first appointment is Thursday and I’ll be 6w3d. I’ll get a script to go to the lab and to schedule an ultrasound. The only way my dr will do multiple lab draws if if you are bleeding to make sure you’re not miscarrying.

My family doctor sees me till my anatomy scan, but so far I've been in every week :) he orders my first ultrasound tomorrow and I'm 6w2d today according to my period.

Due to prior losses my first appt for blood work was at 4w2d, then 4w4d and 4w6d. Because my HcG levels are rising appropriately, I am scheduled for an early ultrasound next Tuesday at 6w1d.

At my first appointment I’ll be 6w3d I think. My periods are super irregular so I’m going in early. My doctor doesn’t see people until they are typically 7-8 weeks.
