Ultrasounds

This is my first pregnancy, and I am 8+3 today. I paid for my first ultrasound at a private place at 5+5 to announce to out of town family while we were there. I have been to my initial two intake appointments with my OB, but the only scan that is scheduled is at 13 weeks. This scan is for the NT test with blood draw as well.

I am thinking about asking for a dating scan just so I can see the baby and hear heartbeat. I have not been able to hear the heartbeat yet. I have high anxiety with this pregnancy as I have had almost no symptoms. I’ve had sore breasts that are starting to be less sore, and a little more emotional. No bleeding though.

Anyone had any experience with this?
