Is it safe?

About two months ago I went to the hospital for a UTI and was prescribed two medications for it. Unfortunately I took it almost a week and the symptoms disappeared so I figured I should stop taking them. Now I'm experiencing the same symptoms and I wanna take the meds but I'm not sure if they'd still be okay to take? I was in the hospital about a week ago and had 2 rounds of steroid injections. I don't know if that'll affect anything. I'm currently 30 weeks. Should I take the meds for the UTI?

Go to your doctor.  Tell them what's going on.

The medicine is still safe to take. However, what you did was not kill the infection all the way by not finishing the entire perscription. Chances are, you've probably made the infection worse as you never really killed it. That's not anything to panic about yet BUT you need yo get a FULL dose of medicine or you're just going to end up with another medication. My cousin did something similar and had to get a c-section because of it, almost a month early.

I know taking medicine while pregnant kinda sucks, i've had a UTI myself while pregnant, but just because symptoms are gone does not mean the problem is gone which is why you should always finish your medication.

Never ever just stop taking your medication because you feel better. That doesn't mean your infection is gone. It's also how the meds stop working later in life. You need to call your doctor tell him what you did so he can get you back on track.
