10 week old too big ?!

So my son is 2 and a half months old & his pedestrian thinks he’s eating too much , HE IS EXCLUSIVELY breastfeed . He is 16 pounds 3 ounces ... what do you guys think ?! 🤦🏻‍♀️

No I think he knows what he needs. In my opinion breastfed babies don’t over feed. He looks perfect!

My midwife told us you can’t over feed a breast fed baby. We to are packing on the weight too.

If your pediatrician is saying your breastfed baby should eat less GET A NEW DOCTOR. That’s very bad advice and dangerous.

Lol!  I just got told today that my son is getting too fat and I need to stop feeding him so much.  Also exclusively breastfeeding!  To top it off, he is a preemie 🤣 so definitely not intending to limit his feeds.  Your body and your baby know what they need.  Things level out eventually.  All my breastfed babies were chunks at first and then thinned out.  My second daughter was 20 lbs at 4 months, tons of rolls, and is now 14, 5’2, and 85 lbs 😂
Feed your baby when he’s hungry and don’t stress about it xx

My boy is also big at 9 weeks he's almost 25 inches and 14 pounds...my Dr. chalks it up to both Dad and I being very tall and has never once said he was too big or gaining too fast. Your baby looks perfect and if he's hungry, feed him! I hate when I hear dr's tell people to feed less...like how? let them scream and be hungry? no thanks lol

My nephew is two years old and OFF THE CHARTS for weight, not even 99th percentile, he weighs as much as a 3 year old and probably 95th percentile for height. He’s not fat, just big boned. His dad, my brother, is 6’4 and they have both always been big dudes. I think some babies are just big honestly. The same way I think some babies are just small. I think the only way babies get obese is when you feed them food early and just fatty shit they don’t need like donuts all the time. If baby is healthy don’t worry about it.

My son is the same exact way. We’re EBF as well. His 2 month check up he was 16 lbs 5 oz but he’s also 24.5 in long which is above average. He’s almost 11 weeks so I’m sure he’s heavier now lol.

My LO is 16lbs and 24in at 9 weeks— the doctor just said don’t feed unless the baby actively starts crying. If my little chunk is hungry I am not going to just sit there and let him cry. They are just bigger— means more to love 🥰
