Do you miss being pregnant?

Anyone else really miss being pregnant? I see pregnant women out and about and get a little bit sad that I'm not pregnant anymore!

I loved being pregnant! I felt more confident with my body than i do now 8 weeks pp, and I had a good pregnancy other than for some heartburn and mood swings. I was also lucky to have a very good delivery even though my son was over 4 kgs.

I don’t miss being pregnant BUT.. I can say those first 6 weeks after giving birth were WAYYYYYY harder than my entire pregnancy. I had second degree tearing plus a labia tear, horrible tailbone pain and my daughter wouldn’t latch which led to exclusively pumping. I told myself that if I could make it through those 6 weeks, I can make it through anything!

The only thing I miss is feeling him kick 😭 I hated being pregnant and was always sick/in pain but I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

I didn’t mind being pregnant and except for the heartburn I had it pretty easy. I wouldn’t say i “miss it” though...but I do miss feeling her move inside me. It was our special bond.

I was swollen and uncomfortable towards the end. Other than that I loved the excitement and looking forward to meeting baby for the first time. I always had something to look forward to so I definitely miss it but I love having my baby here now!

I think I must have gotten really lucky because I loved being pregnant! I didn't really have any issues and apart from an episiotomy that didnt heal properly, labour wasnt too bad!

I was so uncomfortable and huge and hated being pregnant. My labor and delivery was 32 hours and my son got stuck at the shoulders but I was still able to push him out. Postpartum is absolutely brutal and painful. But as crazy as it all was, I’ll still do it again. Weird how the brain works ❤️

I don’t miss my pregnancy.  I miss what I wish my pregnancy was.
