BIL RANT
Okay, so my Brother In Law, let's call him C, hes 18. He brought home a puppy his friend gave him a few weeks ago.
At first C was being responsible and taking care of the puppy, but now he ignores him. Doesnt take him outside or feed him unless one of us remind him to.
When C has friends over he puts the puppy in an enclosure and ignores him. C just plays on his phone or his xbox, and when he does pay attention to the puppy all he does is scream at him or ask his friends to take care of him.
My fiance and I have been picking up the slack when it comes to taking care of this puppy because I'm so worried that this puppy will get sick or get dehydrated.
And my fiance and C's parents say that this puppy is the family dog, but he still sleeps in C's room and they expect C to take care of him. When he doesnt.
C's friends even tell their parents that he doesnt take care of the puppy, and doesnt feed him or anything.
My fiance and I have talked to them and told them time and time again that we'll take the puppy. And they wont give him to us. And I just feel so bad for this puppy.
What do I do? How to I make everyone see that my fiance and I are the better choice for this puppy? Is there a way I can get over this anxiety when it comes to C qnd this puppy alone?
C is irresponsible, he has crashed his car 3 times (with minors in the car), broken 2 phones on purpose because he didnt get his way with his parents, he doesnt pay for anything, he always asks his parents for money they buy everything. They've bought him 2 different mattresses, 6 different comforters because they were losing their fluffiness.
I hate watching him with this puppy. His parents keep giving C chance after chance to be responsible and he just doesnt get it. And neither do his parents. I swear they are just waiting for C to really neglect an animal or have it die in his care before they stop trying to make him responsible.
