Blanket & a pillow?

Question

Have any of you started letting your little one use a blanket and pillow yet?
What made you decide to do it?
I am kind of nervous to let my little one start using them 😬 he still uses sleep sacks currently.

We did because it became pretty cold here. He loves his blanket and a cuddling toy. Yesterday I took it for washing and he was really uneasy sleeping without his blanket

I'm convinced I have a cave baby lol... She doesn't like blankets or pillows, or anything! I try to cover her up and once she notices, even in a dead sleep she gets mad and kicks them off. Lol. So as it's getting cold here I just put her in super warm pajamas, keep her diaper dry and keep the house warm 🤷‍♀️

We don’t do a blanket because it wouldn’t stay on her anyway. But she has had a pillow for awhile because we noticed she likes to sleep on a pillow and slept better

And its an open knit so even if it bunches up its still breathable

No pillow for us, but I give him blankets. They weren't staying on him at first but he seems to get it how and sometimes when he wakes he is standing and holding it. I just decided to give him one because it started getting a little chilly at night.

We let her have both, but she co slept with me up until a month ago and would wiggle down to get in the blanket or up to be on a pillow. She's very self aware and likes her bed

I’d let him play in his crib with the blanket and pillow and a few toys just to see what he would do and make sure he can move them around if he needs to. I started with a 2x2 blanket at 10 months and a pillow at 11 months and never had a problem. He LOVES his pillow, sleeps on top of it like a little cat 🐈

Blanket because he can push it off if has difficulty now. Pillow no, bc I’m afraid he’ll use it to get out of his crib, plus I’m just not there yet.

Blanket but not a pillow. As soon as my babe started taking steps (around 12-13 months), we stopped using sleep sacks because she had a hard time trying to stand in her crib with it on.
