When did you tell immediate family ( ie your parents, etc) about pregnancy?

No one in my family knows how to keep a secret lol. So were waiting until we "wouldn't be mad" if they blabbed. Thanksgiving is about 11 weeks, and we plan to tell family then, and the next weekend we plan to tell more than close family (huge annual party, lots of friends and family) and then make it "public" at Christmas.

We told both our parents and some close friends at 5 weeks but then had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks so next time we’re not telling anyone until closer to 12 weeks (if possible)

Told parents & siblings as soon as we found out (4weeks 1day), we told my stepson & nieces & nephews after the 1st ultrasound @ 7weeks 2days, everyone else we told after the 2nd ultrasound & genetic tests @ 12weeks

my mom knew the same day i found out. the rest of my family found out between 7 and 10 weeks.

My mom found out on accident the first time. She cant keep a secret to save her life. I wasn't going to tell the rest of my family until 13 weeks but I'm pretty sure my mom had already told them I broke down and told them at 11 weeks. Im now pregnant again and hoping to wait until I'm in my second trimester to tell anyone (fam included)

I told my mom at 4 weeks because she lives halfway across the country and was at my house visiting and I wanted to tell her in person. We won’t tell anyone else until Christmas (about 16 weeks) but it’s our third baby and we want to wait as long as possible.
