Epidural... cause I’m not good with pain 😬

I was planning on an epidural because i had to get an hsg test done in order to get pregnant. And that was level 10 pain for me and it was only 2 minutes long. I guess my pain tolerance is low. Now at 32 weeks found out my son has IUGR and probably will need a c-section

I plan to prep myself for natural. But I am also learning about anepidural and what recover would be for an emergency c-section. I really want to stay open minded and know that however I end up giving birth it was the right and safe way. I feel like if I stick to feeling like my birth needs to only go one way I might be setting myself up for disappointment. Just a healthy baby at the end is good for me!

Csection #5 for me. First was emergent due to baby getting stuck and had my first 3 close together so had repeat with them and now it's just the way it has to be lol.

My mom had a lot of complications whenever she got an epidural (5 kids) so I’m planning to go natural. Also, I want to be able to get up and walk around rather than being stuck in a hospital bed. However, this is my 1st baby so I may not do well with the pain and end up getting the epidural anyways, we’ll see!

I had to have c section with my first for failure to progress. I talked long and hard with my OB and we both decided c section was best this go around. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My plan was to go all natural in a birthing suite with my midwives. Hahahahaha what an idiot I was. Ending up being induced at the hospital due to complications. About three hours in I was begging them to cut him out of me to stop the pain. Got two epidurals and then I was okay.

Natural as I did with my first two. I don’t have horrible pains that I can’t deal with, plus I always seem to go in around 7-8cm dilated.

Natural. Epidural with my first didn't work and having to in bed with a catheter while still in pain was pretty unpleasant.
My hospital unfortunately can't do water births, but they allow laboring in the tub, so planning on trying that as long as a tub is available.
