This might be a very stupid question but this baby girl has just been hanging around for a minute around me and my neighbors

You can see that the tip of one of one ear has been cut. I was told that they do this to community strays, they catch them and fix them and cut their ear to to mark them as fixed and then release them back into the community. Do you think she is?

Just out of curiosity. I hang out with her every morning on my porch, she doesn’t bother me.
